New knife on its way! [update - fit and finish issues, now with Buck response & pics]

Well, don't let the F&F of one Buck stop you. I have about 50 various Bucks and this is the only one that I have had an issue with - and Buck is going to make it right. I also have a Vantage Force Pro and it is perfect. In fact, the VFP is one of my favorite 2 folders. I love the knife. #2 Son took it camping last weekend, used the heck out of it and it is in great shape. I cleaned it a bit and honed the edge with a ceramic rod and it is back to normal.

So - don't take my anecdotal experience as typical. I don't think that it is. And Buck is being great about taking care of the problem.

I have several older Bucks but haven't bought any new ones lately. I've been wanting a one handed opener with pocket clip for some time and keep coming back to these.

In the short time that I had my Paradigm, I liked it. Didn't keep it around long enough to give it a good work out, but it was easy to use one handed. And so is the Vantage Force Pro. Flips open easily and can be closed one-handed with no problem. I really like my Vantage Force Pro. A lot.

So...Buck sent me a new Paradigm Pro. This one is much better. The blade is slightly off center but doesn't rub (I probably wouldn't have even noticed had it not been for the problems with the first one) and the bolster fits and works as intended so I'm happy.
