New Knife William Henry B12 BUFFALO NICKEL

Beautiful knife.
My wife gave me a William Henry for a very special occasion about 10 years ago. It is so pretty and so expensive, the only time Ive carried it was for the weekend of my daughter s wedding.
I think I ll take it out and look at it tonight.

For when a Buck 110 just wont do.

Im not a folder guy but that looks good. Would look really good as a fix blade.

I can recognize the beauty - but the metal work on the handle seems too busy for my taste. Let us know how it feels from a practical standpoint?? (IMHO, the metal on the handle would seem to get in the way of using it... I hope that is not the case)

Thanks for the info, I have heard complaints about WH knives lacking heft but from what I have read they are engineered that way.

Years ago I worked with a brilliant structural engineer. He and his designs were respected by everyone he worked with. He always told me that anyone could design a safe structure by overbuilding, but it took a real engineer to practice an economy of labor, materials, and easing the difficulty of execution. I came to understand then that engineering is part practicality, and part art.

That looks like the case with the Henry knives. Gorgeous.
