• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Hi i just got myself a new Emerson Commander, and was wondering if i needed to lubricate the axle before using the knife... Any suggestions (i.e. WD40, etc...)?? Thanks

Your Commander should be pre-oiled (greased?) from the factory, so you should be fine. But if you prefer smoother-than-factory action, a little quality oil would be preferable. I myself use carbonated grease from Chris Reeve and Tuf-Glide from Sentry Solutions. Stay away from WD-40: excellent cleaner, lousy lubricant.

No Sir...She should run fine straight from the factory..Most knives get smoother after a short break-in period..Get some breakfree to lube it and a can of compressed air to clean her out.. ..
CRAP I was beaten during my slo typing...

P.S. WELCOME TO THE FORUMS
