I am pleased to announce a new addition to our product line.
The new model is the #2200,the Escrima Folding Dagger.
OAL:9 3/8" Blade Length:4" Weight:6.3oz MSRP:$199.95.

This knife is based on our existing model number 2100.
Boker teamed with Prof. Bill Newman of Latosa Escrima, noted European Defensive Tactics instructors Frank B. Metzger and Joachim Friedrich,
and Boker designer Dietmar Pohl. The result was a Tactical Folder designed
to be applicable to both the Filipino Martial Arts as well as Defensive Tactics requirements.

Modifications to the knife include improved grip texturing, and a pommel more suited to Punyo applications. The knife also works well as a closed impact weapon, due to the ergonomics, and the fact that the blade fully nests in the
handles.

At this time,we have a limited number available for sale, with regular introduction estimated for the beginning of the year.
Images are available on the German website, and should be on the American
website shortly.

Thanks,
TJT

Look for this to be written up in some magazines in the near future.
Thanks,Terry

Thanks,Thom.
I really need to learn how to do that kind of computer stuff.

My pleasure. Spend too much time on forums (instead dutifully reading your A-List emails) and you pick up lots of stuff.

Yeah,but I mod a couple forums,you'd think I could figure it out.
But the a-list max's alot of computer time,I agree.

That is very cool.
Do you have any plans to make some in the closed configuration, for
training in that mode?
I'm going to have to get one of those, and show it around the office.
Thanks,TJT

Well Mr. Martin,
After looking at your site,I need to order one of each of the EFD
trainers and sheaths.
I'm sure that others in the Boker office here would like them also.
Thanks,TJT

No Problem

I did update the site today..

take a look I have some new Holsters there

I work with Frank Metzner to test the Trainers and Holsters and work close with Boker here in Germany.

I hope to bring the EFD Forward for Police and Security use and for Self defense

It is my fovorit knive and I carry it every day wait for the First Trainer which I should have next week its a Testing Model with EFD roundet blade and AFD handle. I can post a picture if you like.

PS: Let me know what you think of the new Holsters..

Martin,
E-mail sent to you.
I agree,it's a great knife.
TJT

Definately post a picture of the trainer when you get it.
I would like to see about them sending some over here to the US,
so we can sell them.
TJT

OK if I get the Trainer I post a pic.

They make a new run of trainers in a couple of weeks, To change some things of the Trainers. I can let you now.

Martin

The holsters look great,Martin.
I like both of them, each would fit it's own little tactical niche for carry.
I like the belt holster the best, though. It looks like it would be the fastest draw/presentation.
Good work.
TJT

Martin,
Could you give us an idea how Mr. Metzner and you train with the EFD?
I think it would be a great topic, and see what other people see for using it.
Thanks,TJT

Yes I can do that

I will start tomorrow an new treat do talk about some using stuff.

Martin

PS: I am working on short clips to show how to use the EFD but It will take some weeks

Right on,Martin.
I will be looking forward to that, esp the clips.
I think we can start a good thread on defensive/offensive use of this tool.
Thanks,TJT
