• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

This is my 4th knife, stock removal from 100 year old saw mill blade, flat grind, micarta handle, homemade mosaic pins, edge quench with a soft back draw, bleach & cold blue etch. 8in overall 4in blade.. all comments welcome..

Hey that looks great! How do you do the bleach and cold blue etch? I don't recall ever hearing of it. -Matt-

Thanks for the comments, grease-man apply cold blue solution and dip in bleach right away, rinse well and buff with steel wool. repeat as needed, then rinse with baking soda or TSP. Look in search under "patina" .:D

Rocketmann, that's a great looking knife, especially for #4! Your pictue is a little dark however and makes it hard to see the details. I hope you won't mind, but I lightened it up a little with photoshop.
