Picked up a slightly used Outcast this weekend for 40 bucks. been wanting to play with one but did'nt want to pay 80+ dollars for it. now I won't feel so bad.
 
Its a good knife.
Out of the box it has a very obtuse edge and the handle sucks.
Alittle moding and it will rock.
I have used mine alot.
 
Why do you say that the handle sucks- all I had to do to mine was add a turks head knot to the butt of it and it was good to go. I really like mine but as you say the edge is obtuse.
 
Have'nt had a chance to put it through its paces yet. Hopefully soon I'll put it against myRTAK II,W49,and 14" Tram. bolo.
