New knives on Web Specials

I notice they have added some new knives to the web specials. I like the 119 with stacked leather.

i have two with mirror polish blades!:D
dont know why i have keep them either..
they were part of a lot i got from a former buck employee a year ago..

I love the Gen 5 guitar series - man!

I have ordered 5 knives from the web specials over the past three weeks, so I'll have to pass for the time being on the new additions.

Great looking knives though!

I like a lot of the new specials. The last set of specials were so-so. I don't have access to a search funtion, but awhile back I wrote a thread about being upset that the 119 stacked leather was dropped from the Buck web page and I wanted to buy one. "I love it when a plan comes together". I now can get the knife and at a great price.

I also like the elk handle 301 and the ATS-34 Vangard. The Vangard would be a great Christmas gift for my brother in law, who hunts. I also notice they still have the 532 with Giraffe bone handle just hanging around. I keep thinking about that knife and it has been on the special web page for about a 1/2 year now and it is STILL there. It is seems to be calling my name. :rolleyes:

Thanks for the heads up mater:thumbup: . I hadn't checked it out in a bit and didn't know they had added some.

I ordered the 119 and the elk 301. I already have the Gen-5 Guitar or I'd been all over that one too.:thumbup:
 
I was waiting to see what else they would add but I went ahead and ordered the 119 also. Got to thinking it might not be there long.
 
I like the stacked leather 119, I have one that is FB, and the second is serialized. The way I see it is one to use, one for show! HL

Yes, but it has those fake elk hoof prints. Simplicity is sometimes the best design. It would have been a better knife without the fake prints IMO, now it's something for the boy scouts.

It looks like they shifted some things from the limited editions to the web specials, where there is no holiday 40 discount.

Anyway, next week I'll order the rosewood folding kalinga pro @ 40% off. It'll be my first of the kalinga series. I'm looking forward to it.


It looks like the folding kalinga pro eagle was shifted to the specials page, where it is now only $165. Before it was something like $350. better than 40% off!

However, I want the S30V blade. :) Tough choice, because I live in a place where I see American Bald Eagles every day.

I went ahead and made my order. One Elk handle 301 and one 119 special with leather. I first saw the 119 at the Atlanta knife show 2 years ago. CJ Buck was showing it to me and was quite proud of the knife. I thought the white bone spacers were a special touch and I told him that. It just shows what one person really likes another person hates. I guess that is why they make different knives.

I like the spacers, too.

Without the spacers it would be just another leather-handle knife (and look fairly boring).

The spacers give it class and character.

If you haven't received your order yet, it maybe like mine and stuck in Salt Lake City due to "adverse weather conditons". It was nice of them to let me know. I saw the 119 with leather 2 years ago, so I guess I can wait a bit more. :cool:



Edit: I just checked the Web Specials and the Leather handle 119 is gone. I am glad a got one, even if it will be late.
