New Koyote in the house!

Looking good! But, I have to say...mine is still nicer! ;) Here's another photo for Riverwarrior while he waits! I have mne insanely sharp now...it loves the strop! Can see the backside of the sheath...so great for carry options.

Love the photo!! The "Samuel Adams Summer Ale" label matches your "GBB" perfectly:D

It's a classy knife...it goes with everything well! Was just out fishing and had it along. Whittles o' so well! What a handle! What a blade! What a sheath!

What a knife!! :)

I'm always looking for feedback on this, myself. there's a balance in hardness, sharpenability, recovery from damage (batoning through nails!) and such. I try and keep it so a strop- or my preference, a strop with black rouge- will keep the edge up.

Geometry also makes a big difference, of course.

It has great edge retention. I gave it a light stroping when I got and got it very sharp. Mostly I worked on the edge while I was on vaca b/c I was just hanging out, watching my kids in the sprinkler/kiddie pool while I enjoyed some yummy beers! I had a few knives out and was just getting them silly sharp.

It shaves the smallest little curls of paper I've ever been able to get any knife to do! I use the black and green compound. I have yet to abuse it too much...I did baton it through a yellow squash last night- the edge was undamaged. ;) :)

Christof, I'm very excited to get the "GBB" out in the woods for some play time. I will keep you posted with feedback on it's performance. Got a feeling this one will be getting lots of play time...:D

bump for a photo with a friend or two...such a great knife...with other great knives! The only thing about the GBB is that whenever I take it out or put it on my belt, I have an urge to hike and camp for several days at a pop!

nice!

Definitely a beefy handle, interesting to see my stuff next to some of the other handle shapes that way

You and Andy know ergos for sure!

These are my best woods knives without a doubt. I'm amazed the Scrap Yard is so good- that is a thick slab of steel, but it's super slicey!
