Went to visit Tom today with my new knife and he made a great set of pants for it:

It is perfect! Having the firesteel on the outside allows me to have a lot more room inside. Tom also had some Tek-Lok mini-sharpeners that replaces the belt size adjuster. I'm thinking pretty hard about one of those as that would give me even more room inside.

Looks nice huh?! And its Krein sharp!

Sweet looking rig, I might have to save up and get a reeve knife one of these days. Then I could get a cool sheath like that.

That's a great looking sheath!

One question, how tight is the firesteel fitted on the sheath? I would worry about brush snagging,or a fall or slide resulting in a lost firesteel......

Maybe a short lanyard to one of the eyelets?

I need a sheath like that for my Shadows.....:)

Here are a couple of pics I snapped while it was in the shop...

The fire steel is tight, but I would recommend getting a length of stretchy para cord and making a short lanyard with it and hooking it over the bottom of the firesteel.

I have a short length of cord on it now that I feed through the closest rivet, which I think holds it in their tight enough. I can also pass this loop of cord through the Tek-Lok for an extra secure ride.

In the picture that Tom posted you can see the mini-sharpener.

Here is a picture of my Krein Bushcraft that borrowed the firesteel and holder from the Skinner!

I would love to get one of those just like that for my skinner. How do I get it. Thanks
