Its KW's unlimited exclusive run for 2014.
M390 blade steel (60-62 HRC) Blue & Black G-10. No glass breaker.
There will be color variation's in the milled G-10 color patterns.
Some with more Blue, some with more Black. (At least on its initial release)
Making each of these knives a bit unique.
Price will be $195.50 that includes Free US shipping.
This knife will be on our web site and available for pre order early next week.

Is it the luck of the draw how much black and blue one gets when one orders one of these LE Contegos or can one specify a Contego with say more blue?
 
Is Paypal an option if I email you? The FAQ section says Paypal is acceptable but on another section the site explains the reason for Paypal not being an option on the website. Please let me know so I can plan accordingly. This LE is a must have for me. Thanks!
 
Any chance of getting a pre-order in early? I'm heading off for training this week and won't have internet access for at least a few months. I want to be absolutely sure I get at least one of the these since the 810 Contego is an all-time favorite of mine. I'll be giving you guys a call tomorrow either way.

We will have this one up for pre-order tomorrow. Once its listed for pre order you can also phone your order in.
The 1st batch should be shipping in about 2 weeks..... "Should be" is what we were told.
So that's our best guess.

Its going to be random on these. Unless they come in distinctly almost all of one color or another.
It could get difficult as its somewhat subjective picking out percentages of color for an individual order.
The cool thing is they will all be somewhat unique.
 
Does unlimited mean they'll keep producing them throughout the duration of 2014?

I was just thinking that I might eventually buy another and swap the scales onto a black bladed Contego, I think that'd look pretty awesome.

Yes, Knifeworks has a one year exclusive run on this knife. Demand will dictate how many orders we will place with Benchmade.
We do this every year with one Benchmade model. The past 2 years it was the 710 in M390 and M4 tool steel.
