New Leatherman Knives

I am not a Leatherman Fan, but one reason I am a Victorinox fan is the general SAK pocket knife. I keep a (Victorinox) multitool in the case but always a SAK in my pocket.

I would be genuinely interested in one of the new Leathermans that you show!
 
At first I rejected this knife just because of Leatherman's endorsment of Kerry. Just reread the ad in the first post and noted this is a liner lock with rubber handles. This is an easy knife to pass on. :D

...subjective statement. Might be a good reason for a few people to avoid the company and its products, but also might be a good reason for still more folks to buy them.

personally I buy almost all products, guns and knives in particular, on their functional merit. I couldn't care less who Leatherman(sic?) endorsed in the last election. If he makes a nice knife at a nice price I'll buy the damn thing regardless of his political affiliations.
 
Does leatherman amake these knives? They remind me of the carabiner tools and keychain knives from Buck that look like they are imported.
 
Im glad to hear Tim Leatherman exercises his righte to vote, period.
If I didnt support sellers based on my electoral choices I would end up not buying from any one whom supported kerry or bush- both " lesser men" :rolleyes:
 
Why has this thread been hi-jacked by political discussion of why you would or would not buy one. There is a political forum here...lets keep this centered on the product.
