New level of fancy

Those don't look like they belong on no Becker though...
I concur with you and others. It's like putting italian leather in a Bronco.

Nice handles though.

Edit: Oops. My comment was already made several times haha.

uhmm yuck! impressive for sure looks really pretty... belongs on one of them thar safe queens... sooo who's gonna buy one?

Honestly, I find them pretty hideous. I generally dislike ornate designs, and I especially dislike ornate designs on tools.

However, I have mad respect for whoever makes them. That's some intricate art right there. I can appreciate the art value but would never put something like that on a knife.

I dunno, they might be cool on a 5 that stays in the kitchen. they do not however look like they work for a living.

It's kinda like Ed Hardy stopped making douchey t-shirts and got into the knife scale business o_O

back in the day (Victorian?), ornate designs on the then new design metal tools were all the rage. over time, due to cost, and perhaps people just being boring and shallow, tools got to be pretty darn ugly :D

Those are Austin Powers scales. Groovy, baby, yeah!

I will say they are as imaginative as anything I've ever seen. Do you get a free bowl of soup? ;~>

That's just plain fantastic. Is that a rabbet plane?
