Hey guys! I've been grinding like a mad man and am just finishing up a batch of 20 stainless pieces. I was wondering if i could get thoughts on my new logo!

The symbol is a variation of the Valknut, which is a nice geometric pattern. The Initials are my last name "Greenberg" but also my full name, Ben Greenberg. It was designed by my good friend Jon. He does some pretty slick stuff. jdanyeur@gmail.com

I feel that the name should be continuous and not broken in two lines. Also, I know that the two lines were justified but I don't like the different kerning from line to line. The symbol is fine but at the sizes it's going to be used I'd try another version that opens up those thin lines inside the symbol for better legibility.

to me it looks like two seperate things next to eachother
Your name and a shape, imho they don't look like one thing together
Many production knives have lots of this and that etched on a blade and that is something I don't like.
I'd ask for something that is more "one"

Hmmm? Ben,
It looks like it would etch well with the solid lines of the geometric. I don't see your first name? If its suppose to be here? Years ago, I asked the late R,W. Loveless about what to have on my logo and he was adamant that Name & Town. He said,
The whole purpose of marking your work is so people can find you! While the internet was just coming alive then and he was thinking of people looking through a phone book, I do agree that you want people to be able to find you. I have received emails from as far away as France and many from across the country.

I suggest that you have your pal make up a few more for you to choose from contain some info to be able to contact you.

If I ever change my logo? I will go to my (Rhino head Logo and www.rhinoknives.com) as my makers mark.

Maybe, save the logo for your business card and website. Keep the maker's mark simple and legible. Greenberg or B. Greenberg perhaps. It depends where you will place the logo. If you always place it on the ricasso where there isn't too much room keep it very simple. If you are going to put it on the side of the blade where Mr. Loveless and others put it there will be more room for additional information like town and state or "bladeworks" etc.

I would suggest one line, one name as it is less confusing. I would assume it is 2 people, green and berg. Keep it real simple for the viewer.
