New Long Saex From Don Fogg

beautiful work, but I prefer a more traditional shape with a gentle curve along the top, and a less oriental look. I also like a longer blade, say more than 20 inches.
One of these days, I hope to find the cash to commission a hand forged, pattern welded blade.
 
It is frickin' breathtaking.

I saw it in person and as a WIP at the New England School of Metalwork. Pics don't do it justice.
