What is a "Freebie" Tin Knife? With any order for a knife over $65.00 you will receive one of these. They are made fron 3/32" O1 and are 3/4" tall, and made to fit in an Altoids tin. No sheath is included with these. It`s kind of a thank you from me to you, for your interest in my work. The new versions will have a "straight from the forge" finish, except for the blade.

Great job John, I thought up another little tool yesterday that maybe you could make, I'll try and draw it up later !

You guys will both be getting them with your orders. In fact, the one shown is PWork`s, I`m working on his knife now.

Fantastic.
Soon everyone in W&SS should have one of those. What is really cool is that they will all be somewhat different.
Stomper's Snowflakes!!!

That looks cool with the forge finish look. these little knives are really neat, I have attached mine to a mag firestarter.

Best damned "freebie" around. One of my most used little blades.

Now that I have one, I love it.
Makes an excellent shirt pocket knife. I think that, in the long run, it'll end up on one of my survival kits. Perfect size for it.

I've got one of mine in a small neck pouch kit (mag bar, tin knife, couple small sticks of fatwood and a button compass) and my new one might be added to an altoid tin PSK.

I'm really happy that you went in this direction John.

My Pre-straight from the forge finish Tin Knife is bound to fetch top dollar one day on the collector's market.

;)

I really love my two Tin Knives. The larger one is nice and handy and will someday soon get scales. My Freebie Tin Knife is now a permanent part of my Altoids kit along with some bandaids, a lighter, mini-Sharpie and some tinder.

I might do something to cover the handle to make it a bit more comfortable. Maybe some of that plastic dip stuff for tool handles or a couple layers of road bike inner tubing, er I mean Ranger Bands should do the trick.

Great stuff John!

PB Wilson and you other guys who are putting your tin knife in an altoids tin, this is what I have been doing. Get two (or however many you want) magnets, I'm using those super strong rare earth ones. Glue them into the lid of your tin. They hold the tin knife secure and out of the way of the other items in your kit, plus the blade is always in the same spot and position when you open it.
