Hello everyone-
I am blowing out one of our popular Warthog models due to a small blemish (one of the mosaic handle pins wasn't placed exactly where I wanted it.) I made two like this this last week. One was a custom order, and we made a similar one which is on sale now for less than 1/2 of its regular retail price. Here is your chance to own a genuine M.G. Muhlhauser & Sohne knife for a fraction of the regular cost. This knife has a really exceptional fossil brain coral handle.
The specifics are:
Model: Warthog
Serial Number: WH0009 (new serial number system implemented Q2 of 2014)
Blade Steel: 440c liquid nitrogen cryogenically treated, double tempered stainless steel
Steel Hardness: 57 Rockwell C Scale (each knife individually tested).
Bolster Material: 416 Stainless Steel
Handle Material: Fossil Coral
SALE PRICE: $225.00

Just a quick note which someone else asked about. This knife does come with our Walnut presentation box, and certificate of authenticity, and your choice of a basic leather sheath, or a zippered soft sided case. Thanks again everyone!

Markus, I sent a few other questions in a PM, but assuming we don't find an obstacle, I'll take this one.--Thanks, Don

Sold. Thanks to all who were interested. I will be posting a couple nice new Coral Klipspringers in the next week or so. Thanks again!
Markus

Very nice and unique. I have never seen coral used before, anything you could compare it to in terms of feel or durability? Thanks!

Benchwarmer, the Coral is really cool actually. I just received the knife, and it is generally smooth it just has a very fine texture to it, and will be grippy when wet or bloody. This knife is really well made, and Markus from Muhlhauser sharpened it to my specs, very well. It's interesting there was a thread that talked about Strider knives coming in a baggie, and how Nick didn't get it at all about presentation of his knives, especially considering the price of them, well Muhlhauser gets it to a whole other level, this knife came in a Walnut presentation case, in a very nice box, with a certificate of authenticity, and a decal in the box--along with a thank you note as well--pure class. This will not be my last Muhlhauser knife!
