New Maker, Cucchiara Knives

Very distinctive and original style.
I did however not see your logo on the blade..?

I think you have some winners on your hands. I have to agree with Geode's post about your folders, the relief in the handle looks like it has way too much lock bar showing. I also think that your false edge on the blade looks like it stops too abruptly for this blade type. Now about these folder blade shapes, FANTASTIC! I get so sick of seeing the same blade shapes from makers and it is great to see something different like yours. I would personally like to see some teeth, grooves, notches, etc. for the thumb, since these appear to be users. Keep up the good work.

Good work, Matt.

Your knives reveal a reservoir of talent which will seen a wider range of beautiful blades in the near future.

Congratulations.
:)

Matt "Cuccaracha" I don't know if I have mentioned it to you in person before but you have MAD SKEELZ.. I dont think anyone can do those types of grinds in such a short amount of time.. I will look forward to meeting up with you in Solvang.. :)

i will be looking forward ot it mat.. especially the free beer :) but owing buddies beers is somethign that does not apply in common arithmetic.. I will owe you a few soon enough.. great knives man!!

but just started making knives two months ago

2 months and your knocking out folders anf fixed blades like this??? All I can say is WOW!!!! I hope I can afford your work ;)

Folder's got nice blade to handle ratio and the thumb stud position allows generous thumb purchase. This one will make someone very happy.

I like the fixed blades a lot, im a big fan of polished carbon fiber handles and you may want to try a few with mosaic pins which seem to make the knives a little more custom oriented. Excellent job for such a new maker, i wish i could do that. :)
