New Maker for the Beckers?

Has anyone heard if they are going to get a another maker to keep making or supplying the Becker line of knives? It's sad to see these knives go by the wayside. If they do, hopefully they maintain the same quality and pricing. I wish I had bought more before they started disappearing.
 
All I can say with certainty is that Camillus folders are being made by Ontario but I'm not sure about Beckers. I for one would love to have another company assume the production of the Becker line of knives since I never got a chance to get one.
 
I'am another one who found out about BECKER Knives to late. i've got a becker necker on my wish list also.
 
I believe I read somewhere on ontario RAT forum that Becker is finding another company yes. Maybe the new RAT company, hmm I wonder?
 
From what I have heard they will either be produced by Ontario or Kabar. Either one is great so i'm just counting my pennies till they start cranking them out. :D

Those are the same rumors I've heard.
 
I'll sell mine for only three grand. Heck, I'll throw in a kydex sheath too.
 
When I was comparison chopping for a big blade 5 years ago it was down to the Becker Brute and a CS mini gurkha light kukhri. I went with the CS...DOH! :(

If you really want a Becker some guy on ebay has neckers for a benjamin and Bk-7 and companions for $150 buy it now. Seems the regular auctions make it almost that high anyway. I think I'll wait until someone steps up and makes them again, or I get lucky.
 
Well, if Kabar picks up Becker, I have to wonder if they will be made in USA or Taiwan. Seems that most of their knives are from the orient.
 
I have a BK-10 & love this knife ! It's an awsome slab of steel !:thumbup:
I would like to have the BK-7 also but oh-well :(

555 sent me all these little bits of paper. Lots and lots of little bits of green paper with the pictures of old men on them and numbers in the corners.

Now what am I going to do with that? Doesn't 555 know the Zombies are coming?

No, the little bits of paper don't do me any good.

Why didn't he just send me what I wanted in the first place?

Water. I just wanted a box of water.

A gallon goes for about 6 grand these days.

Man, but instead of sending me water all I got was these little bits of paper.
