i got hold of some vulcanized liner for under the handle material, was wondering if you epoxy it or the best way to use it.
thanks

When I use it I just layer it in when I lay up my handle and pins. Layer of epoxy, then liner, then handle material. Pins go in there also :D. Clamp it up, let it dry and yor ready to shape up your handle.

I'll also drill some extra holes in the spacer material to allow epoxy to "rivet" the handle scale to the steel. Hope that makes sense. That way you have steel, epoxy, liner, epoxy, and handle, with epoxy going directly from the handle to the steel. In addition to pins, or course.

I usually epoxy the liners to the scale first, let it dry then epoxy the handles to the knife.
Cut a piece of liner to fit the scales, clean and sand all contact surfaces, mix epoxy thencoat the scale set the liner on it, put a piece of wax paper between the 2 liners and clamp together let dry.then as nathan said drill several small holes in the liner just into the scale materal.

thanks to everyone for all the liner tips. this is my first knife with liner. next one will be better im sure. the jade colored g-10 actually looks kinda baby blue thanks to the blue liner.
