Introductions:

Hello, my name is J.B. Phipps. I've been making blades for six years. I do stock removal on 5160, and have it treated to somewhere in the RC 50's.

I strive for quality, durability, functionality, and artistic expression in all of my work.

My knives are tough and can take alot of abuse, but could also serve you well as a display piece.

Blade Forums looks like a top notch site, and I thought I'd give it a try. After looking around a bit, I believe this is the perfect site to sell a few of the hunters I make.

I hope to earn your trust.

HUNTER FOR SALE:

This knife was finished October, 2006. It is full tang, it is closest to a flat grind, but is a bit convex. The handle is black suede, cemented, and is wrapped with four fine cords in the Japanese style (Tsuka-maki). The tang can be seen on the bottom of the handle. It has my maker's mark in a piece of brass, set in the blade. Finally, it also has a lanyard hole.

It has a nice spacious handle, and feels fantastic in the hand. Balance point is at the finger cutout.

Hey thanks for looking & posting!

That's the best I can do with the camera I have, and it really doesn't do the wrap justice.

There's a chance I can get someone with a better camera to retake the pictures, but that'll take a while. I'll look into it.
