Welcome Scarman,
I posted a similar message when first joining and got nothing but the warmest greetings. This really encouraged me to start posting and not worry about embarassing myself.You can ask a question about anything regards knives whether it is balisongs,bucks,spydercos,customs,etc.and knowledgeable folks will respond.
