Hello all. I have become addicted to the Buck 124. After talking to me for some time and realizing there was no hope, Joe Houser recommended this forum to me and now I can see why. I'm here to learn and enjoy all the new information and hopefully pass on some from time to time. I have started a modest 124 collection and hopefully it will grow in the next few years. I hope you enjoy the pics.

Chad

Hi Chad,

Welcome to the Buck forum. Like you the 124 is one of my Favorite Buck knives, I do prefer the older ones with the full tang and thick handles. Thanks for sharing you wonderful collection.

Chad, that is a great collection of 124's. Like them all but the white handled one stands out.

Chad, very, very nice collection of 124s..did you say modest????:D:eek::D. Preston

Sud's, welcome . I dig your 124 collection . The model you had question marks with, I'd say your correct as my old articles on that model state it was made from 1969-70 in that configuration . The micarta spacers look more like a dark burgundy and thats normal . Thanks for posting your photos . Do you know the year of mfg. on the rest of your models ? DM

Thanks for the compliments. I enjoy the 124's as much as anything I collect. I did go back and date the ones in the original post as best I could. I have a few others that I didn't take pics of yet. When I get time I'll post those as well. Nice to have some sort of database of the 124's. Joe's sheet is great and any pics to help verify or give a face to his information I think would be a valuable resource.

My obsession too. I have a house full. Most with box and papers etc.
Four Stags and 13 others NIB. 9 like new no box. I'm picky now.
No more without box and papers

Hello,

nice buck knives.

I bought this 124 from a collector who sold most of his fixed blades.
I received it today.
I don't have any papers or box and don't know the age.
The knife is in good condition and unused.
