Hi guys, I am sort of here to introduce myself and also I wanted to ask something that I made a mistake on.

Anyway, I liked cutlerylover's video on youtube and I bought a white Spyderco Endura 4 because of that, and a co-worker carries a couple of spydercos all of the time and after handling them (and mainly being a Kershaw guy), I decided to order up a few (I am on this knife buying kick for some reason).

So, I ordered the White Endura and a Pacific Salt in Yellow ('cause I work on the SF bay), and those havent come yet.

Then I decided I wanted the regular black versions of the Endura and the Delica, so, I went to New Graham and thought that I put the Delica and the Endura in the cart and so I ordered up.

Come to find out, I only ordered the Endura and I payed the price of the knife (53.00) for overnight shipping. So, I emailed New Graham and told them that I didnt want O.N. shipping and that I meant to buy a Delica also as well as the Endura.

How do you think that they will handle this? Do you think that there is a way that they can help me out here? Or will I have to cut the losses and order a Delica when my next paycheck comes?

I hate to do this to a supposedly good company, but if they cant help me, then I probably wont order from them again.

They have a thread running here http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=374573&page=57

Michael Dye is the owner, and a well respected dealer and member. He has taken care of us knife knuts for years now. I would speak to him online, or on the phone.

To be honest of you if the order already went out as you ordered it ( mistake though it may have been) I'd think you would have to live with it as it wasn't their fault, and they gave you what you want.

Perhaps I'm reading it wrong too. I'd not listen to me, but go to them directly. Good luck, Joe

Guess it would come down to a question of whether the same person who handles their online orders reads their email. Personally, I don't really trust email for things like that. Too many potential points of failure. I'd have telephoned right away and made sure of where I stood. Of course, if you ordered it at 2am this morning, that would not have been an option. But, if that's the case, a phone call just after 9am Eastern time this morning ought to get things straightened out for you. Ask for Mike or Annie if you call, they're the two who handle the knife orders. If it was sometime during their business hours yesterday, then it comes down to luck, but I'm certain that if they received your email and read it in time, they will do as you requested.

New Graham, and Michael, are very reputable and will do what they can to help you get what you want. If you made the mistake then it's up to you to wear the consequences if things can't be changed, however I'm sure Michael will do what he can.

Welcome to Bladeforums, to what the others have said, New graham has always treated me good to.

Unfortunately, it looks like Im S.O.L., the order is actually supposed to be delivered today.

It does not look like this is going to work out well for either of us. The order was placed Tuesday and unfortunately, shipped out Tuesday (one knife, Next Day Air). We were not advised of the ordering error until this morning (Wednesday), but the knife was already winging it's way cross country. Kinda out of our hands at that point. We have adjusted many orders in the past before they ship, but once it has left the store, not much we can do. I hope the OP will reconsider not ordering from us again. The only thing I see we are guilty of is shipping out the order the same day it was received. :o

Man o man, you cant win..even when you try, and do give fast service
Next time, it'll be someone complainig that it took 3 days to receive my order,
why so slow.;)

I'll reconsider.

I shouldnt have said that really. It was the most expensive knife that I have ever bought, but I cant say that it wasnt my mistake.

I just think that something should be changed on the order form, because I will tell you this, that the box for overrnight shipping was automatically checked (I am pretty sure thats what it was).

So, as soon as my next paycheck comes I'll probably be ordering a Delica and a Tasman Salt.

I do think that the whole bandaid thing was pretty funny though.

When I received the knife, there was a plastic package of bandaids rubber-banded to the box and on it it says "your gonna need 'em" or something like that.

How many do they give? I got mine over 3 months ago, and I'm down to my last one haha

And I have to say that the bandaids from New Graham are just fantastic!
The best bandaids I've ever used.
