Hi every one,

I am excited to be part of this forum, as in the past couple years, I have become interested and excited about knives. As a youngster, I was very much into them as well, and have reintroduced myself to that love. I recently found my old Arkansas honing stone kit that I bought when I was 13 years old (32 years ago) and have been enjoying sharpening knives for friends and family, as well as my collection.

I wanted to take this opportunity in this post also to make you fine folks aware of some knives I am on the hunt for. I plan on putting what's in my sights on the Want forum, as well.

If anyone can direct me to where to find one of these, please let me know! thank you so much..

Welcome! Glad to have you here.

As far as finding knives goes, searching this site might turn something up in the for sale area however if knives are priced to sell they will often go very quickly. (maybe a couple hours, maybe a couple minutes!) You can also just Google whatever knife you're looking for and if any of the big name dealers have them it should show up in your results.

As a general rule of thumb though, if you are patient and diligent enough, you will normally find the best deals here on the exchange forum. (unless someone is selling a limited edition / discontinued / otherwise rare knife, then you might wanna hold on to your wallet...)
 
Welcome make sure you watch the exchange here for your wanted knives. Also use this forum there us hundreds if not thousands of year of good knife knowledge and experience. It's up to you to filter out the bad and it's here also. Enjoy your stay and just learn have a merry Christmas.
