Welcome to what is probably the friendliest corner of the internet. Great choice on the #15, looking forward to some pics of it after a little pocket time.
 
Welcome to BF Traditionals. That's a sweet folder you got for your first GEC. The 15 is my favorite GEC pattern and I have 3 of the SFO barlows and three of the boy's knife series including one like yours in cocobolo.

This is a great place to visit; it is my internet "home". You are going to like that knife I think and enjoy your stay here. This is the nicest group of people I've ever had the pleasure to be around on the internet; with a user name like "strop", I think you'll fit in here fine.

That is a single blade barehead canoe in red stag bone and 1095 "stainmore" steel blade with stainless bolsters and liners. I think it is a wonderful knife and use it a bit now and then. Reasonably priced too. I'll leave some info in a visitor message for you if you are interested.

The maker is Jeff Mutz.

I think I should warn you that if you have any thoughts about visiting the "What traditional are you totin.." thread you need to get your wife (or girl friend or room mate as applies) to hide your wallet from you. It is definitely a wallet wrecker. I visit it myself way too often.
