My aunt came to visit for a few days and brought mom her Christmas gift. A deer legged chihuahua. His name is Pepper and is ACA certified and has papers. I was hoping for a chocolate lab cause as us guys all know a chocolate lab can do much more than a chihuahua. Heres the pics. Hes still a little shy but my aunt bought him the HD shirt. Hes got a camo coat tho. Least mom has a new companion to replace our old chihuahua that I had to put down after he got paralized from the hips down and lost control of his bladder and other end down there. Oh ya, hes 16 months old. The original owners wanted to get rid of him since he had too sweet of a disposition and wasn't hyper like other chihuahuas. Hes also not neutered so we can stud him out to make some extra cash.

Never met a mellow chihuahua -- all I've ever encountered have been unbearable bundles of raw shivering nerves. Sounds like you got a good 'un. Love his Harley shirt. :)

We used to have a neighbor who had one who was by far the coolest one I'll probably ever see and he was named Moose. Not super hyper or "yippie" with the barking and didn't shiver in fear like some do. We have 2 labs and when he was around them he thought he was the same size. He would jump right in the mix and do what he thought he could do with them. He was basically a lab in a Chihuahua body as far as I was concerned. They later got another one what fit the typical Chihuahua profile. Good luck with him though.
 
my wife works with a girl that adopted an old chihuahua that is calm and confident, does not yap. Good on you for taking a rescue dog not a pay for puppy mill.
