Ive posted here, on several occasions but have never officially introduced myself. I reside in Georgetown, when Im not enforcing laws, I like to wander the outdoors. Im a less is more kinda guy. I enjoying going into the woods for a weekend with a poncho/shelter, a few survival items, and I know Im about to get an earful but only ONE knife that I use and a second on my PSK necklace. Im a big fan of Bark River Knives and got another one in the mail today, a Limited Edition PSK, and I gotta say Im disappointed with the Kydex sheath. Any advice one where to look for an aftermarket product. Ill post a quick picture, if I can.

Jeez, Im sorry already, that is an awful picture. I did say I enforce laws for a living, Im not great with a camera.:o

cmgray -- welcome aboard and thanks for introducing yourself! Nobody is going to give you an earful except help point you in the direction you need or want to get the solution.

You'd have to go custom for this one, probably. Here's the best in the business, reasonable, and a good guy:

He also hosts his own forum here a BF:

Stick around and look forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome! Naw, no flak on the one knife thing, that's what I try and do too (doesn't always work out though):D

LOL! Some tremble in fear when they first come to a new forum! :D I gotta ease their minds right away!

Welcome to the boards man. Another guy to talk to about the sheath would be Eric (screenname: Normark) He makes terrific sheaths.

Yeah I do like to take an SAK with a nice sawblade some of the time. My knife of choice to take out into the backcountry is the Bark River TUSK though, its sharp as hell and stays that way with minimum effort

Im not going to try and fool anyone into thinking I know it all. Im a BOSS course graduate, both there Field and Skills courses, I wont ruin it for anyone, but what an experience. I try to practice those techniques on one and two nighters into the woods. Its not too cold down here in Tx, which allows me to take minimal clothing, I normally get by with a tarp, and fleece bag liner. Im glad to be here

CMGray,I love my little PSK,but that sheath does leave something to be desired. When I stop buying knives for a while(I am Canadian and our dollar is up)I am going to talk to Normark http://www.mnsi.net/~nbtnoel/ . That's going to be fun Kydex for PSK,BRKT Snowy River,SAK,GAK,Spyderco endura or delica.....ahh who knows?
