New Military

Just received my new Spyderco Military from Savson Swords and Knives. I purchased a plainedge satin finished model with G10 scales.

Fit and finish are excellent, lockup is perfect with no play, and it is shaving sharp. I believe it is the best Spyderco I have ever had, in design, materials, and overall quality. The Yojimbo I had would be a close second.

I'm glad to hear you have had good service from Savson. I ordered a knife from them and they have not answered my emails. Seems like their service can be spotty according to some members on this forum. I think the owner should investigate because just one of his employees could be ruining his business.

I received my Military in four days. In fact, I have never waited more than five days for an order from them, but they do seem to be hard to get a hold of by Email, and that is the only way to contact them. It's probably not wise to do business with a company that doesn't give you a phone number, but they've been great to me, and they have the best prices as well.

Either way, I have it and it's great. Thanks Sal for coming up with such a great design, and putting the best materials and craftsmanship into a production blade that I've seen in a long time.
