New Mini Bedlam. Irritated. Now happy.

So the replacement Mini Bedlam came in today and fit and finish are excellent. The centering is dead on, too. Comparison and in hand pics as promised. I have average sized hands. There's plenty of room on the handle but it also affords a very strong grip due to the contouring. Great ergos all around.

I’ve had a super freak and lots of grips, so those photos put it in perspective. The full size was a bit too much to carry every single day, but this one looks manageable.

Yep it's no problem to carry. It's very similar to carrying a Super Freek. The Mini Bedlam is a tad longer and at 4.81oz about .5oz heavier, but it is a little thinner. The Bedlam will stick up a little higher out of the pocket primarily due to the pommel. The Bedlam is slimmer in closed height at the clip than the Freek, so you have a more room to slide your hand into your pocket. It's a great design. I'm glad to see the Bedlam back in this size. In a saber grip it feels fantastic.

It’s a great looking model, but I was also fan of the larger original version. Had an anuto and a manual over the years. While I’m personally moving away from trailing point blades for general use, this definitely seems like it will appeal to those who want a more reasonable size to carry.
