I would add a word of caution about the Nite Ize drop in for the Mini-mag.
I have owned several Opalec Newbeams and they are fantastic with great light output and an indicator led for low battery. Had one for about 4 years with no problems. These units have plastic pegs that fit down into the Minimag head to prevent torquing when turning the light on and off. The Nite Ize does not have any torquing pegs and will tend to twist around on the battery prongs and possibly leading to early failure. Output is OK tho.
