Hey guys,

This is my newest model I have available. Im calling it the Fjord hiker. These turned out seriously awesome! It is designed to be a go to companion knife for everything you do outdoors. At .22 thick of 3V, its tough enough for batoning and hard work while its thin grind makes it a great slicer and cutter. I took these down to about .15 before the final sharpening so they have great geometry. I ran the 3V at 62 for extra edge retention. The handle feels like it belongs in your hand and is made for hard cuts into wood without fatiguing the hand. It also has a nice exposed tang for hammering.

Here are the specs

Steel- CPM 3v at 62 HT by peters
Blade length- 5
overall- 10
Thickness- .22
Blade height- 1.35
Skeletonized tang
Fasteners- stainless flared tubes
Sheath Kydex
Finish- stonewashed

All prices are shipped, paypaled, and with a nice kydex sheath. I offer a lifetime warranty against any and all damage or breakage that ever occurs during use with these knives. If you break it, I will fix it or replace it and pay your shipping both ways. I also offer a money back guarantee. If you aren't happy with your blade, send it back and I will return your money or get you a knife that fits you better, AND pay for your return shipping. PM me or email me at huntsmanknifeco AT gmail DOT com.

1.) Up first is a blem in orange G10 at a discount. This one has a deeper swedge and a lower grind. I can't decide which style I like better. As for the flaws
1.) This one has slightly uneven grinds where the swedge and main bevel meet. The flats extend further on one side.
2.)There are also a couple small pock marks on this blade that I couldn't surface grind out.
3.)Finally my makers mark is not as dark as I would like.

Asking $SOLD shipped for this blade. It will make a great user!

Next up is a non blem in black linen micarta. This one sports a smaller swedge and slightly higher grind. Only flaw on this blade are some grit marks can be seen under the stonewashed finish in the right light. This steel is crazy hard to finish at this hardness- almost like M4. I am working on a finish that will be perfect and not drive up the cost.

Asking $SOLD shipped for this blade

Nice Hunter. I love it when you make a new model, you put a ton of thought into everything you design. And most people wouldn't bother listing that orange one as a blem, you know...

If one of these is left on pay day I am on it. 3V at higher RC is sweet. Nice job. Russ

Price drops. Absolutely giving these away. You can't find this quality or materials, craftsmanship or warranty at these prices anywhere. Please take a chance on one of these blades. You will not be disappointed.

Can't believe these are still around while people pay crazy amounts of money for gso's on the production forum... Probably most sensible guys are as broke as I am ATM. Btw, love the orange one, I preffer the lower grind.

I wish that more people realized just how much knife they can get for the money from individual makers. I get the draw that owning a brand and being part of a group has, but I cringe when I see what some of the superb work here goes for compared to what people pay for brands.

I wish more knife enthusiasts would realize this as well. There are some great production blades out there now days but I think few of them can compete with what you can get from a talented custom maker.

Late to the party, but these caught my eye.
Will you be making more? What is the price? (Sorry - would have PMed, but still very new here and I haven't become a paid member, yet)
