New model, needs a name

Looking at the white micarta, the word 'tusk' came. How about Tusk Fighter?
Some starwars fan might also relate that to Tusken, the desert warriors.

I agree with all the animal/tusk comments. "The Silver Tusk"

Or whatever that unicorn looking whale is... "Narwhal", I think. :o

I can't beleive someone has not suggested this....I would like to just call it MINE. Sorry...thats a nice looking knife!!!!
Jim

Thanks for all the good ideas, we just haven't had time to nail it down to one yet. We should probably hurry since it will be leaving tomorrow. Here is a finished picture with the sheath.

Gutsy, I like excentric names.

Here it is the "Gohto-av" like, as in, "holy schinikies I GOT TO HAVE one of those!" Sounds exotic and represents the "need to own" nature of this perfect knife. Hats off. Beautiful.

PS - kidding about the name. It does strike me as mysterious, so:

The Gloaming

Here's your add copy (I only charge 1 knife!)

It was the gloaming, when a man cannot make out if the nebulous figure he glimpses in the shadows is angel or demon, when the face of evening is stained by red clouds and wounded by lights.
-- Homero Aridjis, 1492: The Life and Times of Juan Cabezon of Castile (translated by Betty Ferber)

not sure if the name game is still cooking on here but how bout "Sage". The blade looks very pure and angelic. Or possibly, "Solstice". Any way you go...awesome looking work.

Congrats on that one!! Very nice work. "I want one lol" I would name that knife The "LIGHTWAVE" or The SPECTOR I think they both fit. When will that be on the market?

We hope to have a few for the Blade Show in June. We should have a name for it by then.:D
Right now I am making a list with all the suggested names, so hopefully we will nail it down this week. Thanks for all the help.

I look forward to getting my hands on one. Again nice work!!
THE GRAHAM SPECTOR S30V That just has a nice ring to it. LOL

Well, we decided on "The Diplomat".
Once again, thanks for the help. We put some of the other names back for possible later use.

Like ItchyTasty said, gyrfalcon. It's a bit of a fighter, thus falcon, and the white handle symbolizes well the birds plumage, while the blade symbolizes well the bird's beak.

Edit: I see you already picked a name. That's what I get for not reading the entire thread. :o

The Diplomat sounds pretty good.

Sounds like 'diplomacy using light saber' and 'aggressive negotiation' (Star Wars, Attack of The Clones, Anakin and Padme in the final battle on Geonosian)
