The engraving dont bother me especially since we know the maker. Just adds to the uniqueness. I own the Purna first place Kukri from the last contest and he had to squeeze in the "e" between "Made in Nepal" and that pleases me knowing the whole story!

I agree with moparsbob about the engraving. I really like the blade shape and size! I like the "Sandbar Bowie" name, too.

I will post a full review once I receive the Sandbar Knife. It will be interesting to compare and contrast with other blades of similar weight and length.
