New Model specs & comparison photos

The Pocket Kephart is a gorgeous knife, feels great in hand. A big little knife, if you will.

Andy was gracious enough to let me have some copies of the new model patterns.

Here's a comparison pic with a Hiking Buddy + one of my Taco Sheaths.

Received my Bushcraft Cub yesterday. If you are a fan of Andy's Kephart style knives you're going to like the compact nature of this new model. Thought I would post some quickie photos.

To show comparative size to other familiar models here is a Patch Knife, a Hiking Buddy with the new Cub:

I expect this new model will become a favorite.

Thanks for posting this Peter! I think this is my favorite of the new designs and it might be the ideal smaller fiddleback for me. I hope to try one sometime soon.

Didn't know what thread to ask this, didn't really want to start a new one - does anybody know what steel the production camps will be offered in?

Just out of sheer curiosity, is there any plans at the Forge to make a scaled down Terrasuar sized knife?

I agree with you and hasco, Peter. The Bear Cub is a great new design and one I will have to add to the "someday" list. Thanks for posting this great photo.

Glad it provided you with some insight to add it to your "someday list" which I take as a step above a "someday maybe" list. That's the great thing about Fiddlebacks.......there always seems to be one or two more that you just gotta have ;)
