"malicious intent"

What Is Malicious Intent?
Answer
Malicious intent is a term used in law and law courts to describe a criminal action done with the clear intent to inflict harm, damage, injury, or death. Malicious is an adjective formed from the noun malice, which refers to the intention or desire to do evil.

that pretty much sums up that blade according to the tactical line

well once you hold it in your hand...thats how i felt.....

Let's see if I did this right.... for the luddites in all of us. Andy has a call out to name the knife, I've been calling it the pirate knife around the shop. 2nd photo is with a Big Sneaky for comparison. The balance on this knife is perfect. Perfect. Blade length is 9 3/16", overall 15". 16.6 oz.

Damn! I really dig the "aboriginal" look of the blade, and combined with a Fiddleback Forge handle, I can just imagine how comfortable it is to use. Is this 5/32 or 3/16? Man, I'd love to take a 5/32 version on an exploration :) I really don't see it as tactical, but as damned useful in a primitive living situation in the bush.

Gee Andy, how about us older unsophisticated twerps who have no idea how to tweet?:D

Well, you're right at the same point I am then. Lets learn it together. Its important wrt branding FF.

That knife needs to be called "The Bush Butcher". And it needs to be in my collection.

The Bush Butcher. I like that one.

Ill take it:)

Haha!!! It'll be the last knife listed in the Friday Batch!

The Big Bend.... It's the name of a recluse found in Texas that blade looks like a Texan EDC!

Big Bend spiders are gorgeous. I like Texan EDC better as a name though.

that thing is a beast.
i didnt want to put it down today ....as a matter of fact i was about to leave & walked back over to pick it up "one more time"

Great to have you stop by Phillip!

That beast is cray cray!

Ha! It's totes mcgotes!!

Its totes cray cray. As my 11 year old would say.

Name suggestion: The Goliath .. named after the bird eating tarantula. ;)

I like Goliath.

The Poacher.

Damn fine looking blade.

I know for some the Poacher would create a negative connotation to the knife, but in the spirit of the Woodsman I like it. It conjures up much older images for me from books read in my childhood when Robin and his band of merry men went about poaching the deer in Sherwood Forest pissing off the sheriff :)

There is one BIG difference....probably about 35 years in my case. Ever hear that you can't teach old dogs new tricks??

You're a reader? I'm reading an incredible book right now called A Soldier of the Great War by Mark Helprin (sp). Even though I'm not that far into it I can tell it's one of the best books I've read in some time. Already been a knife mention, a slipjoint by the sounds of things, that has a built in ferro rod (under one of the covers). You should check it out if you're a reader and haven't already.

On topic- out of everything so far, I like Goliath best. ;)

Well...I was an avid reader, then about six years ago I became a writer. I've bought a dozen books since then and have managed to read two of them...

I do like Goliath, it definitely fits it.

Being a Frank Herbert fan how about "shai hulud"?

The Fiddleback Hulud? sounds like a thumping big creature:)
