Jerry, How did you get the balance on the Big knife to come out at the bolster with such a long blade? I'm asking because mine seem to come out blade heavy.

Bob, I do very deep hollow grinds using an 8" wheel. In this case, while the tang is tapered to reduce weight, the large pommel helps balance the knife.
