New models 2012

So is the Patrol Machete, Brute, MachAx all for sure for this coming lineup from BK&T?

I can get caught up in the spin and grab two of everything, which some will, and that's neither here nor there. Or get what makes more sense to me. Some nice stuff coming out for sure. But my list is something like: Two mini BK-2's, one BK-5, no clip point as I am not interested in it. (Micarta for the minis). One maybe two patrol machetes, I don't need a Machax and I have a Brute.

I believe it is a custom bowie by dpknives. It is really nice. He brought it to the WNY Gathering. Weight, balance, handle are great & the lanyard hole in front of the handle works so well, every large knife should have it there. If you let go, it stays in your palm & does not swing down wildly, like a regular one.
 
Does anyone know the size specs on the tweeners yet? I am looking to getting one when available as long as it is not a KaBar 3/4 size mockup.
 
personally I'd make the sweep on the spine of that drop point tweener a bit more gradual, mostly just for looks-that guy's a bit bullnosed and ugly, but that's just me. Otherwise I like em alot.

I think they are in the Becker blade database. The only one I know off hand is the Brute, which should be .25in if I remember right.
 
I believe the tweeners are around 4 inch blades, except the trailing point of course. Get one, you will love them. If you don't, I can almost guarantee you can turn around and flip it for what you paid for it when they first come out.
 
Where can I get my pre-order in? At least they're not due til 2012. My wife says no more blade purchases for a while for me...
 
Toooj noted on the KABAR forum that the new release Brute and Crewman are 2013. I'm a little sad panda about that but I know how things are. I'll be cool with the Tweeners for a while.
