New Monarch?

There are some nice new pics of the single edged monarch at knifemart. Is it just me, or does the blade profile look different? Also, has anyone handled the new doulble edged one? Will there still be a kris monarch?

The new profile is the resolution for the blade hitting the inner channel wall, and for hitting the latch as well. The handle alignment issues have been resolved as was the impression of someone that has the new version (I'm still waiting on one to confirm).

As far as I know the kris blade, the Damascus versions, and the Talonite versions are all still in works.
