This rig is sporting 50 feet of paracord. Didnt feel right about cutting off the excess, so I just tied it down, I can use those ends for attaching more gear if I need to, like a fire steel, compass, button led or something.

The wrapped necklace makes it much more comfortable than just a single strand of paracord on your neck and the tight wrapping around the sheath itself increases the retention on the knife.

Very cool, what a great idea. Is the main body of it knotted? I can't really tell from the pictures. what a great way to carry that amount of paracord. Could you give me a little more info on how you did it. I am can't really tell from the pictures.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Cool, I did up something similar with my M2K. I just daisy chain it all to really compact the cordage and then tied it around the belt loop of the sheath. I just 'ranger banded' (inner tubed) a ceramic rod and ducttape wrapped mag bar around the bottom of the sheath.

Anyway, I'm a big fan of those types of slings for knife carry. Makes it easy to get to and isn't obtrusive.

The sheath is wrapped like you would a knife handle, the extra bit you see sticking out is from the ends, just tied those around it for now to keep them out of the way.

that's badass!

Look like it would be very comfortable and secure. Nice!
