ragweed forge has the new mora craftline series if anyone is interested. i know there was some talk about them and i just saw he has them in stock.

Very interesting. These look like Eriksson-pattern blades in a Frosts Clipper handle. I'd certainly love to try one in carbon.

They're great- I have one of the new "allround" models- it's awesome. The handle is very comfortable, the sheath works great, the blade was perfectly finished. And let me tell you- that sucker was SHARP right out of the box. Stupid, crazy sharp.

I don't know if they're worth the $17 to me. If the tang is as short as the clippers are, and the handle is no bigger, doesn't seem like a worthwhile upgrade.

Looks like the #11201 Craftline Allround is selling for $14.00.
All of the other Craftline models are $17.25.

Well, the standard stainless Clipper goes for $12, and the Craftline Allaround for $14. So, for $2 extra, you get a thicker (0.10 vs 0.078) blade, and a grippier handle. Is it worth the extra $2? Not if you already have a Clipper, it's not a screaming upgrade. But, if you're new to the Clipper and want to pick one up, the Allaround is the one I'd go for. You can't go wrong for $14, really.

Check out the blade page. Ragnar is now selling Mora 2000 bare blades if you want to roll your own. $19 sounds like it could be a nice and inexpensive project. Decent sized tang on that one.
