Its hard to tell if a multitool is good or not, just by reading the specs. I hope Gerber did good on these, though i suspect they wont be in the same league as Leatherman.
The description for the Crucial says that its the first tool with an AO blade. Unless im missing something thats not correct. Sog has had the Powerassist S66 for a long time now.
I suspect that the quality of the manufacturing of the Crucial F.A.S.T. will be on par with the Crucial (fairly nice handles, extremely light duty pliers, soft blade steel) except the longer drivers are welcome improvement... and the Phillips driver on the Crucial F.A.S.T. also looks like it may be better formed than the flattened driver on the Crucial.
The G10 handles on the Crucial F.A.S.T. sound nice.
Though I personally am not usually a big fan of carabiners on knives or multi-tools, I actually liked the one on the Crucial... I wonder if I'll miss it.
