Update:
They did a really nice job this one. The bolster/cover transitions are great. Blade is centered. Backspring is flush in both positions. The action was very tight when I got it but flushing and working it did it good. It’s not exactly factory smooth but it has nice walk and talk and decent snap. My only minor complaint is that the pivot pin is just barely visible in the bolster. Not a big deal, especially on this knife. Overall I’m really pleased. It’s an awesome EDC and I like that it’s unique.
I put an edge on it with my KME. I don’t know if it’s the grind or if I was just really on my game but this is the sharpest I’ve ever been able to get a knife. I could dissect a mosquito with this thing. Of course coastal TX mosquitoes are the size of hummingbirds.
The “pocket worn” vintage feel is nice. I don’t generally let my knives patina but this will be an exception. The shiny blade doesn’t really complement the knife.
