New Navigator?

Blade: VG10 or better a la Dragonfly, full flat grind

Handle: G10, FRN anything but black, and (never thought I would say it) Stainless Steel for classy occasions (I don´t have a Kiwi yet OK).

Clip: at least the option of tip up should be there, smaller blades (3 inch or less) open faster and more comfortably with the clip positioned for tip up carry. Wire clip is good, ads to low profile and it´s quite comfy for my hands on my Salsas.

Actually tip up, I could live with, I would take it off for pocket carry!

Money clip? we don´t use that in Europe, we have things called wallets, we even use them for our change. What can I say, we´re freaks! ;)

Lock: lockback is cool, would it benefit from a boye dent?

First off, the Navigator is my most frequently carried knife. It has surpassed the Cricket as my favorite small Spyderco.

I too would love to see the Navigator in a flat ground blade. I would also like to see a Meerkat reverse S blade offered.

Tip Up or Tip Down: Tip down.

Clip: I'd like to see it with a deep pocket wire clip.

Handle: I like the vented handle. In G-10, how about an electric blue. In Carbon Fiber, my first thought is it may be too slick to pull out of the pocket. Perhaps a spyderco bug cutout on the reverse side of the clip for grip. In a bone handle, then it should be clip-less.

Let me start by saying that the Navigator is the ONLY knife I bought another of just to keep as a spare in case of loss etc.My second was a Smokey Mountain one for $20,as long as I was ordering one I might as well get 4 more so I did!! the others were given away or resold to guys at work for the $20 I paid.

Now as far as changes go,the one thing I would get rid of is that little half circle cutout where the edge ends.Man that thing catches alot when cutting things.

Also I took the clip off because I seldom use it,but there are no slots under the clip and that looks weird so back on went the clip.

Personally I would like a larger Navigator.....
 
I've carried a Navigator for several years both the G10 and almite versions. I think I would like Micarta handles but something interesting like a linen texture maybe in green. I like the VG-10 steel and the original blade but a slight texture on the spine of the blade would be nice. Keep the clip and keep it tip down. I like the lower carry and regardless of the other threads I would like gold tone or polished wire clip. I think a lockback is fine but I do like the Boye dent. I would also like an adjustable pivot. Finally, I know it's probably cost prohibative but how about a stonewashed finish on the blade.

Have you decided if there will be a sprint run of Navigators yet? Did your distributors show enough interest in a limited run of Navigators?
