This is a new necker design I have been toying with over the past couple of days and I need some honest opinions. Should I make up some with the current design or should I make some changes, please let me know what you think!
Dimensions:
overall length: 6 1/2"
blade length: 3 1/4" of CPM 154 CM out of 5/32" stock

Thanks Jason

How could I make suggestions to improve on perfection? Maybe the only improvement would be if I were to get a free one to "test out"!:D

Seriously, that is one clean design. Looks totally useful. Good job!

I like it but for a neck knife I think its too big. Ive field dressed deer with a blade that long. FWIW I think a neck knife should be a mini. If you sit up straight in your chair the knife should just miss your beer gut.

I like the design too. I kind of agree with Bruce about it being a little to big for a necker. To me it is just on the line of being to big. But with that design you could offer it either way, with a sheath for a necker or a belt sheath for a work or EDC carry. Either way I think it looks great. Good luck with it.

Looks great! As has been said- very clean. Unfortunately, the only suggestion I would make would mar that a little. Because of the smaller size and narrowness of the grip, I would add some (subtle) thumb grooves or texturing for the purely practical purpose of improving control. -OR- Have a blast finish on the flats?

In reguards to Bruce's sudjestion, I had not really thought of this as I have not yet been blessed with a beer gut yet! :p BUT I was thinking of making a mini version of this knife say about 4" overall!

And as for the grip I will be putting a blast finish on all of the edges of the knife so it will add traction to the spine and then the holes in the handle help to add control on the flats.

Thanks for all of the comments, as this is the type of feed back I need to get a design right, as there is really nobody close around here to bounce these ideas off!!!
