Welcome to BladeForums you "old fart" ;)

Your typing is just fine bro  Your thoughts made it through perfectly.

You have to realize we've been dealing with reading posts by the likes of Butch Harner and Dan Gray for quite a few years :D We're pretty good at deciphering the meaning in a post that looks more like code or shorthand ;)

:D

Yep, WELCOME! What David said, don't worry about the typing. Believe it or not, you actually get better at it after time. Well, at least in about ten years, or so, you'll be more used to your typing so it will at least feel like you've gotten better at it. Seriously (ya right) don't sweat it. I've been told I use the biblical typing method, seek and ye shall find. One thing you might want to consider though, is turning the caps locks off and just type in lower case letter. Most folks find it easrier to read. But, however you do it, just make sure you do it.

As for kilns, that question comes up from time to time. There's a lot of info on here about it. I'm sure some folks in the know will pipe up. Sugar Creek, Paragon and Evenheat are some of the main brands. Then there's the 110V or 220V aspect to figure out.

Here are a few threads that you might want to read through.

Have fun. Keep us posted. All the best, Phil

Skilldust from one Ole Fart to another, just use the built in spell check! The
little check symbol upper right hand coner with a small abc over it.
It mays me sound smarter all the time

Where do you find that spell checker check mark? I don't seem to have one. I'd almost give my eye teeth for it (almost).

Using FF your misspelled words have a red line under them. Right click the word and the correct spelling pops up.:)

Well, what do you know? I never knew you could right click on the red underlined misspelled word and get suggestions for correct spelling. Thanks for the tip!

Butch, never graded a knife maker on his spelling, just keep making those fine knives and we all will be happy. My son loves your razors.

All in fun Butch :D I just couldn't resist ;)

+2 on the Evenheat kiln from Tim Zowada. Great service  Awesome Blades !!!! Excellent kilns
If you do get an Evenheat kiln I would try the rampmaster control. I've heard its much better than the set-pro, which is what I have on mine.
