'New' 'Old' Knight fighter... :)

Regarding the Desrosiers if I remember correctly (Adam jump in and put me right!) the blade was forged from cable but Adam came to test it, it wasn't upto his standards so he reforged the blade with an O1 core. You can't really make out the transition from the photo, there is only about an 1/8" of the O1 showing and that is etched so it tends to blend in with the cable.
The handle is Ironwood and the pin Bronze/Brass.

I have quite a few of Adams blades and love everyone of them.... great guy too.

You are all very kind.
Dcv69, your memory is good. The blade is called the "Goblin Cleaver" and is just as you say. The cable was some very interesting and fine weed eater drive cable. I could only get it to harden about 1/2", so I laminated in the O-1 cutting core, and then it hardened just fine. If I recall correctly, that is about 2006 or 2007 vintage.
Good news on the shop, it is now dry, and somewhat warm inside, and I have actually been working on knives the last couple days! Looks like I might actually have a couple on the table in San Antonio!

My "Dear" Lin Rhea knife ,a small one but terrible in my hand .
