Mike,

Ya' really need to work on your skills, dude! :D Man, that's sweet! I love the bolsters and the slabs!

Michael, great combination of materials on a swell design. I'd buy it ! Love to see that one in the flesh, so to speak. Kevin

Mike If I didn't see you make it Id say you bought it at a flee market...no just kidding nice job...were did you get that CF anyway nice stuff

Cool shape, at first I didn't like the extended gaurd, but it keeps drawing my eye and the more I look at the more I like the whole design.

Very nice Mike. Did you HT the Sandvik yourself? I'm asking because I am going to HT one today in the same steel and am looking for #'s. The only thing I can find says 1940F and about 350F temper
Thanks
Matt Doyle

that's what i went with off of their site.... 1940 for about 3minutes then temper for 30 minutes... though that was a 1mm thick strip so you're going to want to go a little longer than that i would imagine.
i did a 350F temper... we'll see how it works out. i think this is going to be my EDC for a while really test out the sandvik. if it lives up to half as much as i've heard about it it's gonna be awesome.

thanks for the comments guys. i appreciate them. take care good luck matt

I used these temps from Sandvik. The 13C26 I have plate quenched and tempered ended up with 59 Rockwell was Sandvik stated
13C26 Sandvik 1975 Temper 345 2 hours (X 2) Alum. Plates Rc 59
19C27 Sandvik 1960 Temper 345 2 Hours (X 2) Alum. Plates Rc 60

If you google sandvik you can find what your looking for at the sandvik site. Just go to the 'technical center' then the 'material saftey and data sheet' from there select the grade and what info you'd like. They give alot of info and if thats still not good enough email them they have always answered my questions pretty quickly.
