First, this is NOT a spam. I just want to share that ressource with you guys.
I'm not getting ANYTHING for this.

Maybe you know Davy_Dean from ebay. The guy sells knives and have a positive feedback of 99.8%.

I personnaly bought a few blades from him and were totally satisfied.

I recommend him for 2 things : He has good prices (and he won't try to get you with high shipping costs) but mostly, he offers a great service. He is very fast to answer e-mails and if you want something not on his site, he’ll try to fin dit for you (as he did for me).

Anyway, Dave just added a Butterfly section to his website. So I suggest you go and take a look. It’s mostly CCCs, but he also have the BM-42. If you want something else, just ask him he'll see what he can do.

Seriously, if you have questions, just e-mail him. The only reason I don’t have a BM42 from him is that I am Canadian (damn stupid canadian laws when you can have a double-edged 7 inches Fairbairn but not a bali).

i agree that 350's too much... like saint o'killers said, there are better prices for a 42, just look around
 
ahhh damn. and I thought you were going to say EDC... The fake MSRP of $350 is enough said for me, and another CCC dealer? no thanks... IMHO of course. :rolleyes:

He was wrong on msrp maybe.

Others have better prices sure. But he's starting on balis, and he has a REAL good service. I just want to give him a chance.

yeah sure, I understand, but "with all due respect, CCC dealers, and stolen designs/knockoff dealers, have been leaving a real sour taste in alot of our mouths as of late. :rolleyes: too many other dealers out there with quality, original products, and not-so-much CCCrap to weed through.

lol, I would have paid money to see the look on ol' Davy-Dean"s face when ebay dropped the bomb on bali's last month. It's probably not easy to return CCC backstock after your currency has been converted to Chinese. :p yukyukyukyuk!!! :D
 
Several folks have asked me if this is spam. I don't think so.

Mr. cybrok professes that his only relationship to this Davy_Dean place is as a satisfied customer. Nobody has given me any reason to believe otherwise. So, I don't see a problem here.
 
Hmm, I have a hard time taking this davydean site seriously. Maybe its because I click through and see things like:

or obvious ripoffs like these
or this (hmm, I don't exactly get a nostalgic sense of beauty looking at that last one).
Even if they had BM42s at a great price, I'd still probably not order from them since their appreciation and knowledge of fine knives is so amply demonstrated by the examples they sell.
 
I think I will continue to deal with EDC as always. They dont carry any CCCs nor do they try to tell me the original price of a 42 is $350 and it is on sale for over 50 percent off.

It was more an answer to ebay "no more balis", he only had 2 models before that.

And for the CCC, Dave is not a bali freak like most of the people here (no offense :P). So he did not really knew that selling more expensives balis, like benchmades or Spyderco, was not really a risk.

As a seller, you don't really want to take the risk to get stuck with 150$ blades.

If you don't want to buy from him, just don't. I'm not your mom after all (well, maybe in antoher life I was who knows)

You are kidding right? Most of the real "online balisong shops" might consider a $150 knife one of their cheaper items. :thumbdn:
