Buck stockmans have been black delrin for a long time. I believe ebony would be in order, and I agree with 338375, a nice anvil shield would look nice. Maybe a brass shield since everything else is NS. Not a big fan of laminate wood.On another note, they put end pins on the scales but hide the spring pin. It would look better with three pins. The scale pins need to be closer to the bolster. I don't get it. You need to see all the pins.
The liners are integral? Nice touch there. I doubt they would retool to satisfy a bum like me, but I think they would sell more knives if they looked more traditional.I would pay the extra money for pins, real wood or bone and a nice shield.
Nice review 300 bucks. After reading the review, they definatly need to keep the center spring pin on the outside.
