This past summer I met a fellow while fishing on friends boat that happened to mention doing some web site work for a fishing guide in Alaska. I had told him about my knife business and that I would like to do some up grades on my site. He just finished up putting together an "about me" page. Here's the link to it: http://www.hawknknives.com/aboutme/_aboutme.shtml

Neat page, Ray. A great addition, especially considering the history you have to share.

With that French ancestry, I now see why that "brut de forge" had so much appeal.... :)

Ray thanks for sharing I enjoyed reading the history of your family and looking at your web site. I have been learning how to make knives from a local maker where I live at for the past month and with his help I am getting my shop put to gether ( the basics Coote Grinder, metal bandsaw, drill press, sheath making suplies, small forge etc.) doing stock removel first then hopefuly be Christmas forging my knives. I live on a family farm that has been in the family for over a hundred years. Lots of history. I hope one day my blades look as cool as yours.

Take care Ray,
Bryan
